You need some sort of glass containers, paint, paintbrushes, and stickers. I had no glass jars in my recycling bin so I got these glasses at the thrift store for $1.
Each family member drew their design on an address label.
We cut the designs out and carefully placed them on the glasses.
Then we painted around the stickers. This is a perfect project for little kids because it's messy and easy ;)
Painting-in-process.
Let them dry, ours took about an hour.
Carefully remove the stickers and place a candle inside. This is the bat that my husband made.
These are the ones the kids made: a jack-o-lantern and a reverse bat.
And mine, I love the technique at the bottom! Happy Halloween!

What a clever idea! I love crafts the kids can do with just a little instruction and not CONSTANT guidance. This will easily be adaptable for all the holidays. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a great idea! And it's just so easy for a kid to do and creative too! Thanks for linking up to Making Your Home Sing Monday!
