Strawberry Fields

I am currently obsessed with strawberries. I think it might be because my daughter has chosen Strawberry Shortcake as the theme for her birthday party. There are plans and strawberry drawings all over our house. This morning during brunch she actually drew a picture of what she wants her cake to look like, so cute!

Last week I had a baby shower for a friend and decided to make a strawberry hat. This isn't unusual as I typically make these when my friends have kids. Strawberries for girls and blueberries for boys. However this time I wanted the strawberry to be pink, and this soft baby yarn was perfect. I packed it up along with two onesies that I'll tell you more about in a couple of days. I think it was a pretty cute gift and now I have orders for two more strawberry hats... one for my daughter, and another one for her American Girl doll.

What a darling hat! I made a ton of hats last winter and was going to move on to something else this year, but I've gotta make this first. So cute! :-) Be sure to stop in and see the sweater my friend knit!

Sooo cute. I admire anyone that can knit or crochet. I attempted to make a dishrag once...it ended up looking like a rainbow.

You did such an amazing job...I would even put this cute strawberry on my boy ;)

This is adorable! I love it. My mom knitted my daughter an apple and pumpkin hat when she was a baby and they were my favorites. I wish she'd done a strawberry, maybe if we ever have another girl:)
