I used leftover fleece because it's soft and cuddly. I filled each bag with rice and tested that they work well right out of the freezer (stored in a zip lock bag) and after a quick 30-sec trip to the microwave.
Each kid got a pair of them, one for the freezer and the other for the microwave.
Ironically enough, my daughter had a belly ache tonight and was able to test the warm one. She said it felt really good on her tummy. Success!

Stopping my from Favorite Things Friday. Those are adorable...and I love the monkeys!
me encantan, Tienen Una Historia preciosa.
I want to make some of these for my nephew, what do you fill them with? Regular hot/cold packs?

Love the designs! I made some for my kiddoes also but put some flax seed in them and the kids said they smell bad....and they do! So round 2 for me with plain old rice! I made longer ones for my 3 year old and her growing pains on her feet so she uses her's every night. They really do help!

What a great idea. Could you put lavender in the microwave one with the rice? That would be a great de-stresser.
I've got to make some of those. So cool - or hot!!! HA!
What a great idea!
Really cute...I wish I had thought of this when my kids were little...they needed a band-aid for everything!! Have a great weekend.
Great idea. What is it with kids and band-aids? Mine needed them for the tiniest scratch. This would have been such a great solution. Thanks for linking up to Finished for Friday!
Adorable! I need to make some of these for my accident prone little guy.
Oh yeah, I can't wait to make these! My three littlest are obsessed with bandaids and we go through a ton! Thank you for sharing, I will be making them asap!!!
