Tasty Thursday: Homemade Pretzel Bites

I've decided to start a new feature called "Tasty Thursday" where I share a recipe I've made that we enjoyed. I love trying new things and can't think of anything better than sharing our experiments with good friends!

The minute I saw the pretzel bites Katie from Food, Wine & Mod Podge made, I knew I had to make them. In fact, I made them the same afternoon that I read her post. The dough couldn't be easier to make, and the kids and I had a blast shaping these little guys. The ones that look like a pouch and have Italian seasoning are filled with chopped turkey pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese. The other ones, shaped like a knot, are just sprinkled with kosher salt.

I can't tell you how good these were except to say that they disappeared instantly and there were pleads to have more the next day. I'm going to continue to experiment with the recipe and might even make a cinnamon-sugar variation. I hope you'll try them! Bon Apetit!
